I went to the Murray Hill the other night, to go see an amazing band, Between The Trees. I had a blast! And there were some other great bands that played before them, too.
...sadly, I forgot to charge my battery before I left, so I had to limit which bands I took pictures of, because halfway through, my battery started getting low:( So, this is what I was able to get, with a limited amount of time!

haha all this time I thought Between the Trees was a movie. This isn't my area of expertise in photography, so I'm afraid I don't feel qualified to give much feedback. Do you use an off camera flash? Check this site out for different lighting techniques. Not sure if it has this kind of photography but I think you'll enjoy it. http://www.planetneil.com/tangents/
